60-minute lesson
The standard lesson. Long enough to warm up, work on something new and go over it again before you finish.
Real numbers, on the page. Lessons are $115 for an hour or $170 for ninety minutes, one-to-one with Stacey, across Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs.
A single lesson costs $115 for 60 minutes or $170 for 90 minutes. Manual lessons are the same price, taught in your own manual car. There is no joining fee and no charge for the first phone call.
The standard lesson. Long enough to warm up, work on something new and go over it again before you finish.
Better value per minute, and the better choice once you are driving further from home or building up to the test.
Booking five lessons at once brings the price down. Packages can be used at whatever pace suits you.
Five standard lessons paid up front. The usual choice for a learner starting from scratch.
Five longer lessons, and the biggest saving on the list. Suits learners with a test date in mind.
Lessons and packages can be bought as a gift voucher, so a parent, grandparent or friend can pay for the lessons and the learner books them in when it suits.
You can sit your Vehicle On Road Test in the car you have been learning in, which takes one unfamiliar thing out of the hardest hour of the process. The whole arrangement is $440.

Stacey can organise the booking for you and pay this fee directly to the examiner when the test is booked, so it is one less thing to arrange on the day.
The use of Stacey’s car for the assessment, plus an hour’s lesson immediately beforehand to settle in and warm up in the car you are about to be tested in.
The examiner’s fee is set by the examiner, not by Stacey, and it can change. She will confirm the current figure when your test is booked.
One-to-one lessons in the instructor’s car. Suited to first-time learners working towards their P plates.
Clutch control, gear changes and hill starts, taught in your own manual car at the same rates as automatic lessons.
The same rates apply whichever of these you are. Say which one when you call, because it changes what the lessons concentrate on.
First-time drivers on a learner’s permit, working through the logbook and building up to the practical test.
If you hold a licence from another country or another state and have to sit a practical driving assessment here, lessons focus on South Australian road rules and on what the assessor actually marks.
If you have been asked to sit a practical assessment because of a medical condition, lessons are built around that assessment rather than around learning to drive from scratch.
Licensed, but off the road for a while and not comfortable getting back in? Refresher lessons rebuild confidence at whatever pace suits you, with no test at the end of it unless you want one.
