Terms and conditions
The rules for booking, paying for and turning up to lessons, in plain English.
These terms apply to lessons, packages and gift vouchers from First Choice Driving School Adelaide (ABN 98 512 269 936). By booking a lesson you agree to them. Questions? Call Stacey on 0421 557 044.
Booking
You can book online through Bookeo or by calling Stacey. A booking is confirmed when you receive confirmation from Bookeo or from Stacey.
Prices and payment
Current prices are on the prices page. Online bookings are paid by card when you book. For lessons booked by phone, Stacey will tell you when payment is due and how you can pay.
Packages
Five-lesson packages are paid for up front, and each lesson in the package is booked in as you go. If you can’t use all the lessons in a package, call Stacey to talk it through.
Test day package
The test day package includes the examiner’s fee, which Stacey pays directly when she books your test, plus the use of her car and a warm-up lesson beforehand. If your test is cancelled or rescheduled, call Stacey and she’ll sort out the next step with you.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are valid for at least three years from the date they are bought, as Australian law requires for gift cards.
Cancelling or moving a lesson
If you need to cancel or move a lesson, please call or text Stacey as early as you can, so the time can go to another learner.
If Stacey has to cancel, for example because of illness or a problem with the car, she will let you know as early as she can and you can move the lesson or have your money back for it.
Running late
If you’re late, the lesson still finishes at its booked time so the next learner isn’t kept waiting.
What to bring
- Your current learner’s permit, every lesson. Without it you can’t legally drive, so the lesson can’t go ahead.
- Your logbook, if you’re using one.
- Glasses or contact lenses, if your permit says you need them.
Manual lessons in your own car
Manual lessons are in your own vehicle. It must be registered, roadworthy and carrying L plates.
Safety
Learner drivers in South Australia must have a zero blood alcohol level and no drugs in their system. Stacey will end a lesson if she believes you’re affected by alcohol or drugs, or if continuing would be unsafe for any other reason.
You must follow Stacey’s instructions during a lesson, including if she asks you to pull over or stop.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Lessons come with consumer guarantees, including that they will be provided with due care and skill.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you book is the one that applies to that booking. Last updated 20 October 2026.
